Informal History Podcast: The Ferguson Project

In partnership with the Informal History Podcast, I created and produced a series of interviews examining the 2014 Ferguson, MO, uprising following the killing of Michael Brown Jr. I developed the series independently, from initial research and framing through final release, and served as the sole producer across every stage of the project.

Talent outreach entailed identifying and reaching journalists who covered the uprising, along with protesters, organizers, artists, and residents who lived it. Then I built the trust each guest needed to speak openly. Each interview was grounded in dedicated research into that person's specific role in the movement, ensuring the conversations were thoughtful and well-informed. Post-production followed the same hands-on approach, shaping hours of raw footage into a cohesive series ready for release.

Through candid conversations, this series centers the Black and Brown women who led the movement, preserving their stories in their own words.
